Sent to me by my KnitBliss sister Pat Blossom, this 8:33 video is a sand painting depiction of the destruction of the Ukraine during WWII. Both the images and the music are haunting. Who knew this art form even existed. No one knows how many Ukranians died because Ukraine was then part of the Soviet Union. We do know that 27-28 million Soviets died as a result of the war, starvation, etc. Can you imagine?
